Draft for the beta. A lawyer reviews the final version before launch.

Your files. Everything you store in Vast Cloud is encrypted on your Mac with a key only you hold. We can't read the contents or the names.

The AI. To understand a file, your Mac sends our server the text it needs (or a small preview), and the server forwards it to the AI model (Google Gemini, paid tier, which doesn't train on your data). We don't store or log that content.

Your account. We store your email, your devices, your plan and usage counters. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card.

The waitlist. If you join the waitlist we store your email, the date and which page you signed up from, only to send your invite. Reply to any email from us to be removed.

Deleting. You can delete your account from the app. Backups are erased within 30 days.
